Beijing winter swimmer fought against chilliness

January 5th was the "Slight Cold" in the Chinese lunar calendar and
Beijing's minimum temperature fell to 10 degrees Celsius below zero on
that day. A man in his 50s was swimming in the icy Shichahai Lake despite
the freezing cold. Many winter swim enthusiasts in Beijing persist in
building up their bodies through winter swimming from year to year.
