Miao nationality in Guangxi celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival

On Sept.19th (August 16th in lunar calendar), in Gulongpo, Xiangfen
Township, Rongshui Miao Autonomous County, Damiaoshan, Guangxi, local
residents fought to watch the horse competition. That day was the
Gulongpo Fair on August 16th in lunar calendar, Mid-Autumn Festival for
the local Miao ethnic group. Local residents will be engage in various
recreational events, such as horse and bird competitions, and meeting of
folk songs, to celebrate the festival. It was learned that Gulongpo Fair
on August 16th in lunar calendar started from 1902 and has become one of
the most important festivals of Damiaoshan.
