Rongshui Miao Autonomous County in Guangxi's Liuzhou held a ceremony to
award subsidies to families which abided by China's family planning
policy on Nov. 28. 68-year-old lady Liang Guanlian from Dongliang Village
of the county happily looked at the certificate of honor for family
planning she just received. More than 2,000 senior citizens above 60
years of age from rural households which only had one child or two have
received their subsidies for this year.
