Yunnan's Qiaojia County, located in the Hengduan Mountain Range region,
is home to steep mountains and precipitous cliffs. Local residents have
been suffering from inconvenient transportation for many years and have
to carry goods on their back or on horses. Moreover, they run into much
difficulty contacting the outside world. In recent years, as the local
government has increased its investment in rural infrastructure
construction, roads to various villages have been completed one after
another, highly facilitating the life of rural residents.
