BEIJING, July 12 - The aim of the trip to the Chinese mainland by
Taiwan's New Party delegation is to promote the nation's revitalization
and arouse patriotism and nationalism among the young generation, said
the party's chairman Yok Mu-ming on Tuesday.
The biggest fruit of his mainland trip is to have a better understanding
of Chinese national spiritsand that he will take the spirits back to
Taiwan, Yok made the remarks while delivering a speech at the People's
University of China (Renmin University).
His party is an element of the Chinese nation and will do its utmost to
promote national unity and Chinese should not fight against Chinese and
Chinese should help Chinese.
Yok Mu-ming headed a 30-member delegation to embark on an eight-day
journey to the mainland with the theme of commemorating the 60th
